The European experience of integrating dual education models is analyzed, their most promising directions are identified in the context of the possibilities of using them in the educational field of Ukraine. The essential features of the dual education system in the context of the interaction between theory and practice are highlighted. Different models of dual learning are studied: apprenticeship, integrated learning and periodic training in the company. A comparative analysis of different dual education systems of the European community countries is carried out, different approaches to their financing and stakeholder involvement are identified. The main factors influencing the effectiveness of dual education systems in different contexts are characterized. Conclusions. Two key types of dual education systems are distinguished: with the priority of state coordination and with the predominant influence of economic representatives. It is proved that the dual form of education opens up opportunities for the adaptation of international educational standards and the introduction of the concept of practice-oriented learning, which best meets the needs of the modern labor market.
