Organization Peculiarities of Professional Pre-Higher Education in Sports

Abstract

The article presents the results of a theoretical review of the organization of professional pre-higher education in sports in Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to analyze the regulatory and legal foundations of professional pre-higher education in sports and determine the peculiarities of its organization in modern conditions. Methods: study and systematization of regulatory documents, theoretical analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction. Results. It was determined that professional pre-higher education in Ukraine is an integral part of the national education system and is an intermediate link between complete secondary and higher education. The level of professional pre-higher education provides a person's ability to solve typical specialized tasks in a particular area of professional activity or in the process of learning.  Specialized sports education involves mastering an educational program in a particular sport in order to acquire a set of professional competencies in physical culture and sports, the formation and development of a person's individual abilities, and in-depth mastery of specialization in the particular kind of sport. Specialized professional pre-higher education in a sports-oriented area is obtained in specialized sports education institutions with specific learning conditions - professional sports colleges. The main direction of pedagogical activity of professional sports colleges is the selection, training and education of talented children to form the reserve of the country's national teams. The organization of the educational process in professional sports colleges is carried out according to developed educational and professional programs, curriculars, and individual curriculars. In parallel with the students, a training process is organized in accordance with the national teams sports training plans. Conclusions. The organization peculiarities of specialized professional pre-higher education in sports are: a mandatory selection and further sports specialization of talented athletes in specialized professional pre-higher educational institutions of sports oriented in order to form a reserve for the country's national teams; parallel acquisition of professional pre-higher education and training process in in the particular kind of sport; the necessity to develop an individual educational trajectory for students depending on the schedule of sports camps and competitions.
