The article examines the impact of dual education on the professional training of Ukrainian specialists, considering contemporary economic requirements. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the dual education model in enhancing the competitiveness of young people, which is particularly crucial in the context of rapid labor market changes. To achieve this goal, several tasks were formulated: to analyze existing models of dual education in Ukraine, determine their impact on the quality of specialist training, and investigate cooperation between educational institutions and enterprises. Methods. Methods of analysis, comparison, and statistical data processing were used to identify the main trends in professional training. The results indicate that dual education contributes to the development of studentsʼ practical skills and significantly improves their readiness for professional employment. Close interaction between educational institutions and enterprises is a key factor in the successful implementation of the dual system. An analysis of existing practices reveals that the most effective model is one that combines theoretical training with practical activities within the enterprise, enabling students to gain professional experience during their studies. An assessment of the career prospects of graduates with dual education reveals that they have higher chances of employment and adapt more quickly to the requirements of employers. The study also provides recommendations for enhancing educational programs to align with the needs of the labor market and the interests of all stakeholders. The article emphasizes the need to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions, enterprises and state bodies to create an effective mechanism for training specialists. Conclusions. The introduction of dual education is a crucial step in modernizing Ukraine's education system, ensuring the training of highly qualified specialists who meet the demands of the modern labor market. The results obtained can serve as the basis for further reforms in the field of vocational education in Ukraine.
