The purpose of the article is to determine the analysis of the results of the implementation of regular 3˟3 basketball training in the pre-competition training program of international military pentathlon athletes as an influence on the relay of overcoming a single special obstacle course. A number of scientific research methods were used to investigate the goal: analysis of literary sources, psychological testing, mathematical and statistical analysis. 24 17-18 year old cadets of higher education institutions (men) took part in the pedagogical experiment. The state of the emotional sphere as a function of higher nervous activity was evaluated by the indicator of emotional lability according to Doskin's well-being scale, to study the stability of attention, a correction test was conducted according to Anfimov's tables. The statistical processing of the obtained data was carried out by the parametric method, and the significance of the obtained data was checked using the Student's t-test (for n < 100) at the given level of reliability p = 0.95. For the possibility of using the Student's test, the Fisher-Snedecor test was calculated. The results. The initial data of indicators of the emotional sphere and stability of attention in cadets-athletes of the 1st year of higher education institutions, which were defined as homogeneous with a minimum amplitude from the average values of the studied parameters, were established. The implementation of regular basketball training in the form of a team game probably improved the indicators of the emotional sphere, well-being and attention stability after the relay of passing a single special obstacle course (SSOC), which indicates the benefit of increasing the level of dexterity in this category of subjects and the formation of automaticity of exercises in them. Conclusion. The implementation of regular 3˟3 basketball training in the form of a game statistically significantly improved the indicators of the emotional sphere and the stability of attention after the relay of passing the SSOC, which is substantiated by the reduction of the athlete's energy expenditure, the time of leaning on an obstacle, and the increase of the speed of forward movement due to the improvement of the mechanisms of automaticity of movements. In the future, functional indicators and indicators of systemic oxygen transport should be investigated and compared with the acquisition of automaticity of movements thanks to the game of basketball.
