Axiological foundations of corporate culture in the university community during wartime

Abstract

The article examines the peculiarities of the development of corporate culture in the university community in wartime. The analysis focuses on the axiological foundations of the phenomenon, the revision and renewal of the value and normative components of culture. The purpose of the study is to analyze the peculiarities of the corporate culture of the university community and to determine the dominant values of its structure in the context of social change associated with war. The methodology is based on the comprehensive application of general scientific methods, including analysis, synthesis, generalization, as well as the results of a survey (Google form) of employees of the Boris Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University regarding corporate culture and its significance. Results. The content of the corporate culture of the university community has been clarified, the negative effects of the war on its development have been identified, the Code of Corporate Culture of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University has been analyzed, and the results of a survey of its employees have been presented. Conclusions. The full-scale war and its consequences have had a destructive impact on all participants in the educational process and on the functioning of the institution as a whole, which should prompt the university management to update and review the axiological core of the corporate culture. A number of values have been identified that are important for each member of the team in wartime: resilience and adaptability; employee safety; support, social and psychological assistance for employees and students; transparency and communication; leadership and responsibility; creativity and unconventional thinking. Therefore, updating the value foundations of corporate culture in wartime will allow the institution to adapt to new challenges in a timely manner and promote internal integration of the team for its preservation and development.
