The article examines the influence of a person-oriented approach to learning on the formation of language competences of students in a higher educational institution and analyzes the main principles of a person-oriented approach to learning and their influence on the formation of language competences of students in a higher educational institution.
Various methods were used to study the influence of a person-oriented approach on the formation of language competences of students in a higher educational institution, in particular, indirect observation of educational classes allowed to investigate the real conditions and teaching methods used by teachers. This made it possible to assess how the theoretical principles of the person-oriented approach are implemented in practice. The analysis of curricula, programs, methodical materials and evaluation tools helped to understand how a person-oriented approach is integrated into the official educational documentation and to what extent it is reflected in the educational process.
It has been established that a person-oriented approach is key in the context of modern education, as it provides an individualized approach to learning, taking into account the needs, interests and capabilities of each student. The formation of language competences is an important component of studying foreign languages in a higher educational institution, as it contributes to the development of cultural understanding and intercultural communication. Neurolinguistic programming methods are aimed at improving communication skills and developing language intuition through modeling successful language strategies. In addition, modern research in the field of neurolinguistics makes it possible to integrate knowledge about the functioning of the brain into the learning process, which contributes to more effective and faster learning of language material. The teacher plays a key role in implementing a person-oriented approach to learning. The main task of the teacher is to create favorable conditions for the individual development of each student, supporting their motivation and involvement.
The results of this study will contribute to the improvement of methods of teaching foreign languages in higher educational institutions, contributing to the more effective formation of students' language competences.
