Practice-oriented approach for the future teachers’ communicative culture formation at the higher education institutions

Summary: The article substantiates the relevance of applying the practice-oriented approach for the future teachers’ communicative culture formation at the higher education institutions. It is emphasized that the basis of a practice-oriented approach is the formation of soft skills and in this process communicative culture is decisive. The author focuses on strengthening the role of the teacher to provide psychological and pedagogical support for children in war conditions and this will be facilitated by the using of a practice-oriented approach for the communicative culture formation. It is emphasized as the important part that the practice-oriented approach for the future teachers’ communicative culture formation is carried out through activity, experience and reflection. The purpose of the article is in theoretically substantiate the features of the applying the practice-oriented approach for the future teachers’ communicative culture formation at the higher education institutions. It has been determined that the practice-oriented approach for the future teachers’ communicative culture formation consists in organizing the educational process in such a way that the students not only acquire theoretical knowledge about communication, but also form actively and improve their communication skills in real or simulated pedagogical situations. The methodology of applying the practice-oriented approach for the future teachers’ communicative culture formation at the higher education institutions is described. Conclusions. The practice-oriented approach is an effective means of the future teachers’ communicative culture formation, because it ensures targeted involvement of students in modeling, analyzing, and solving real pedagogical situations. The implementation of this approach in higher pedagogical education contributes to the development of such qualities as empathy, tolerance, emotional stability, flexibility in communication, and also forms the skills of constructive dialogue, argumentation, listening, and self-presentation. The effectiveness of the communicative culture formation increases when it is used the interactive teaching methods (trainings, role-playing games, master classes, pedagogical practices), which allow bringing the educational process closer to real professional activity.Downloads
