Abstract

The purpose of the article is to provide theoretical and methodological justification for the impact of team sports on the dynamics of comprehensive rehabilitation of war veterans, as well as to develop and validate an integrated model for assessing the effectiveness of collective sports activities in the process of convalescence. Methods. The study uses an interdisciplinary approach that combines analysis of scientific sources, comparative and systematic methods, structural and functional analysis of biopsychosocial factors of rehabilitation, and expert assessment to determine representative criteria for somatic, mental, and social-adaptive well-being. The construct and theoretical validation of the integral indicator was carried out, and the principles of its empirical testing in rehabilitation programs were described. Results. The article identifies the key components of comprehensive rehabilitation of veterans, establishes their interrelationships, and highlights the criteria relevant for integral assessment. It is shown that team sports have a significant positive effect on the psychosomatic state, reduce the level of anxiety, depression, and the intensity of PTSD symptoms, and contribute to the formation of communication skills, social support, and group cohesion. A methodology for an integrated indicator of rehabilitation progress is proposed, which takes into account somatic, psychological, and socio-adaptive indicators and can be used for comparative analysis of the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs. Validation procedures are outlined to ensure the scientific reliability and practical applicability of the model. Conclusions. The results of the study show that team sports are a highly effective tool for the comprehensive rehabilitation of war veterans. An integrated approach to assessment allows for objective monitoring of the dynamics of convalescence, optimization of individual rehabilitation routes, and improvement of the effectiveness of recovery programs. The proposed methodology has the potential to be implemented in the system of medical, psychological, and social support for veterans, providing a standardized mechanism for monitoring results.
