Abstract

The study is aimed at identifying effective approaches to the integration of digital technologies, visual practices and interdisciplinary methods in the process of training applicants for art education. The purpose of the article is to substantiate modern strategies for the formation of visual culture in art education in the conditions of digital transformation of society based on the analysis of Ukrainian and international scientific and pedagogical experience. The article uses a complex of general scientific and special research methods, in particular the analysis and synthesis of scientific sources, comparative analysis of Ukrainian and foreign educational practices, systematization of theoretical approaches to the concepts of "visual culture" and "visual literacy", as well as generalization of the results of empirical and conceptual research in the field of art pedagogy, digital education and cultural studies. The results of the study identify key strategies for the formation of visual culture in art education, including: integration of digital visual technologies and practices; development of interdisciplinary educational projects; formation of critical thinking and visual literacy; introduction of project-oriented learning with an emphasis on photography, graphic design and digital visual communication; increasing the digital competence of teachers of art disciplines. It has been proven that the combination of traditional artistic methods with modern digital tools contributes to the development of students' ability to critically analyze, interpret and create visual images in a socio-cultural context. Comparative analysis has shown that Ukrainian art education generally corresponds to global trends, but requires more systematic support in terms of resource provision and training of pedagogical personnel. It is concluded that visual culture is a key component of modern art education and a functional competence of an individual in a visually oriented information environment. The implementation of the proposed strategies allows modernizing the educational process, improving the quality of professional training of future art specialists and ensuring their readiness for creative and critical interaction with the digital visual world. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of using the results in the development of curricula and methodological recommendations for art educational institutions.
