Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of body-oriented methods for improving the functional state of the musculoskeletal system and optimizing muscle balance in schoolchildren of a special medical group. The research aims to develop an adapted exercise complex, substantiate the organizational and methodological conditions for its implementation, and experimentally verify the program’s effectiveness. The research methods included the analysis of current scientific literature, pedagogical observation, physiological and morphofunctional measurements, posture assessment, joint mobility, trunk muscle strength and endurance, coordination, and stabilization indicators. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed exercise complex, an experiment was conducted with students divided into experimental and control groups. The program lasted 10 weeks, with 3 sessions per week. Sessions included exercises targeting trunk stabilization, flexibility, coordination, postural symmetry, and body awareness. The results demonstrated significant improvements in the experimental group, including enhanced postural symmetry, increased spine and joint mobility, improved trunk muscle strength and endurance, and better coordination and stabilization functions. Comparison with the control group, which followed traditional physical education methods, confirmed the high effectiveness of the proposed body-oriented program. Individualized load progression, regular monitoring of physical indicators, and gradual intensity increase were identified as key factors for program success. The study concludes that integrating body-oriented methods into the physical education of schoolchildren in special medical groups is scientifically justified, safe, and effective. The developed exercise complex promotes muscle balance optimization, musculoskeletal functional improvement, and the formation of healthy movement patterns. Practical recommendations focus on the implementation of adapted exercises in educational settings, considering students’ age, physiological, and medical characteristics.
