The purpose of the article is to study the possibilities and limitations of using online resources to improve the quality of philological education in Ukraine. The main research methods were: analysis of literary sources, systematization of information to assess the available advantages and limitations of digital technologies. The results of the study revealed that in the modern educational environment, the rapid dissemination of educational material is ensured by Internet technologies, which improve the availability of online resources and provide quick access to information from anywhere, which is especially important for Ukrainian educational institutions during the period of martial law. Most educational institutions have switched to distance education using various digital platforms (Google, Microsoft Office 365, Moodle, etc.). Services such as Viber, Telegram, Skype, Zoom and Gmail are widely used for instant communication and messaging. Modern digital technologies are important in teaching philological disciplines. Online resources useful for philological education students who study Ukrainian and foreign languages are considered and characterized. It was determined that another effective tool for improving the quality of philological education is the use of an interactive SMART-board. The use of various online resources has certain limitations that can affect their effectiveness and attractiveness for participants in the educational process. The main problems include technical requirements, the need for stable Internet access and possible health problems (dry eye syndrome, musculoskeletal problems, etc.). To eliminate these negative aspects, it is necessary to ensure the support of technical aspects in educational institutions, including stable access to the Internet and the availability of the necessary software. The considered innovative educational resources, despite some of their shortcomings, increase the effectiveness of the learning process and significantly improve the level of providing educational services. The conclusions state that electronic learning, the tools of which are actively used in philological education, cannot completely replace traditional learning, but it can effectively compete with it or be an auxiliary means of improving the educational process and developing the necessary competencies of future specialists.
