Experimental evaluation of pedagogical conditions for the formation of competencies of future specialists in physical culture and sports in the field of health and recreational technologies

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study is an experimental evaluation of pedagogical conditions that ensure the formation of competencies of future specialists in physical culture and sports in the field of health and recreational technologies. To achieve the research objectives, a comprehensive set of scientific and pedagogical methods was applied, including the analysis of modern scientific literature on physical culture, health-oriented pedagogy, and recreational technologies; pedagogical observation of students’ activities; surveys and testing to determine the level of development of physical, social, and psychological indicators; the organization of a pedagogical experiment with control and experimental groups; and the application of statistical methods for data processing and interpretation. The study involved 60 first- and second-year students of the Municipal establishment "Kharkiv humanitarian-pedagogical academy" of the Kharkiv regional council, who are trained in the specialty A7 Physical Culture and Sports. The results of the experimental study showed that the implementation of a comprehensive system of pedagogical conditions significantly improves students’ academic performance and enhances their physical abilities, including coordination, strength, and endurance. A positive effect was established on the development of social skills and stress resistance, the formation of moral and volitional qualities, as well as motivation for a healthy lifestyle and active participation in professional activities. The experiment confirmed that an integrated combination of theoretical and practical training using health and recreational technologies contributes to the systematic formation of professional competencies of future specialists in physical culture and sports. Thus, the implementation of pedagogical conditions in the professional training process ensures the sequential formation of key competencies of students, increases the effectiveness of the educational process, promotes the development of a health culture, and facilitates adaptation to professional challenges. The proposed system can be adapted to various educational programs and implemented in sports and wellness centers, confirming its practical significance and prospects for the development of the educational and sports sectors.
