The relevance of the study is determined by the need to improve the effectiveness of physical training of military personnel under conditions of modern combat activity. Performance of service and combat tasks is associated with prolonged movement, carrying equipment, significant physical and psycho-emotional stress, which requires an appropriate level of special endurance. One of the most applied means of its development is a 15 km march, which is close in content to the real conditions of professional military activity. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the importance of a 15 km march in the system of physical training of military personnel. The study used analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, analysis of normative documents, methods of comparison, systematization, pedagogical observation and logical-structural analysis. It was established that a 15 km march provides a comprehensive effect on the body of a serviceman, contributes to the development of general and special endurance, functional stability of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, strengthening of the musculoskeletal system, formation of energy-efficient movement skills, rational distribution of efforts and psychological stability. It has been proved that the systematic inclusion of march loads in the system of physical training contributes to increased working capacity under prolonged load and preservation of the effectiveness of professional actions after covering the distance. The methodological conditions for effective use of a 15 km march are generalized: gradual increase in load, consideration of the individual level of preparedness, control of functional state, regulation of movement pace, weight of equipment and terrain conditions. It is concluded that a 15 km march is an effective means of military-applied physical training and an important element in the formation of professional readiness of military personnel.Downloads
