Abstract

The purpose of the article is to reveal the ways of implementation of innovative pedagogical activities in higher educational institutions. It has been specified that teacher's innovative pedagogical activities in higher education institution are a systematic process of developing, testing and implementing new educational ideas (educational technologies, forms, methods, teaching aids, etc.), which is aimed at qualitatively updating the educational process and increasing the competitiveness of pre-service specialists. The directions of implementing innovations in a higher education institution have been revealed. They are: technological (implementation of digital tools, blended and distance learning systems, use of artificial intelligence, etc.); methodical (development and implementation of new organizational forms and teaching methods that stimulate students' activity); personality-oriented (development of students' soft skills, their values, culture, ability to self-development). The ways of implementing innovative pedagogical activities in a higher education institution have been described. They are: introduction of flexible formats for organizing the educational process, such as: blended learning, distance learning, online learning, dual learning; introduction of modern forms and methods of learning (active and interactive methods, project methods, simulation methods, contextual learning); digitalization of the educational process (use of distance learning systems; use of virtual and augmented reality for visualizing educational material, involvement of digital resources in the organization of educational activities); constant monitoring the quality of education and the results of using innovations (introduction of a system for assessing the effectiveness of innovations, search, testing and dissemination of new ideas, teaching methods, etc.); formation of teacher's innovative culture (motivation and teachers' training for using educational innovations, teachers' reflection on their teaching activities). The exceptional importance of the teacher-innovator in the success of implementing educational innovations has been emphasized.
