Abstract

In recent years, the issue of comprehensive improvement of the content of physical education in institutions of higher education has become more and more relevant, innovative proposals for methodological support of the educational process are being considered, new scientific developments on the issues of reforming the system of higher education and the use of non-standard means and methods in the system of physical education are being analyzed [1]. This determined our chosen topic, its need and relevance.

        Socio-economic transformations in our country also affected the process of rethinking the concept of the development of the higher education system, the main task of which is the formation of young specialists who are able to effectively respond to the needs of society, while the main task of physical education today is to preserve and strengthen the health of those who acquire higher education and formation of their need for a healthy lifestyle [2].

       In the context of the reform of the higher education system, the requirements for the qualification level of young specialists are increasingly based on the formation of basic professional competencies in them, which will be sufficient for the successful performance of professional duties and solving complex tasks in the chosen field. Such requirements dictate the need to strengthen the health of a young specialist, which is most realistic with the help of innovative methods and non-standard approaches in the field of physical education [3].

       The educational activities of today's student youth are intensive and complex, which sometimes leads to significant psychological stress, deterioration of the assimilation of educational material, and a decrease in academic performance. In ZVO, academic teaching of physical education, together with other types of physical culture and health activities, is aimed at ensuring all conditions for meeting the needs of students in the necessary motor activity. However, the situation is exacerbated by the fact that most of them do not have a fully formed culture of maintaining their own health through physical education and sports. Only the academic discipline «Physical education», which is a mandatory subject of general education and an integral part of the humanitarian component of education during the period of study, will be able to contribute to the formation of a culture of health, its meaning will be revealed through the formation of universal human values, such as harmony between mental and physical, mental health and physical well-being through physical perfection.

      Panemia and today's martial law regime in the country require a different approach to the pedagogical process, to the content of physical education of students, which involves a review of organizational and methodological principles, the development and implementation of new concepts, modern approaches, innovative methods, the implementation of integrated educational practices and teaching. The priority values ​​in education are: the health of students, the scientific nature of the content, the unity of the content and methods of physical education, the appropriateness of the age and level of the psychophysical condition of the students, and the availability of programs. A healthy and active lifestyle should become a trend, a lifestyle for all achievers. However, another problem arises in the formation of the desire for self-improvement in young men and women - different motivation and observance of the strictest self-control. This problem requires the development of a modern program.

         Our work is devoted to the study of effective means of attracting students of higher education to regular physical education and sports, using the example of the use of athletic gymnastics in the system of physical education [4]. We assume that athletic gymnastics is one of the most effective means not only for physical development, but also for strengthening health, promoting active leisure time outside of school hours, increasing the level of psychophysical condition of students and will allow them to successfully socialize in society. The health-improving orientation of athletic gymnastics, which combines strength training with harmonious development, general strengthening of health with the formation of the personality of a young specialist, is especially noted [5].

Analysis of the educational process, questionnaires, processing of test results and pedagogical observations allow us to offer effective ways of increasing the effectiveness of education.
