Abstract

The article examines the theoretical foundations of the study of the mechanism of adaptation of military personnel to military service. The main scientific approaches to determining the essence and structure of adaptation in the conditions of military activity are analyzed. The key factors affecting the adaptation process are identified, and a classification of typical problems and challenges faced by military personnel during service is proposed. Conclusions have been made regarding effective strategies and methods of supporting the adaptation of military personnel, taking into account the specifics of military service. The materials of the article can be useful for scientific and pedagogical workers, teachers of higher educational institutions, methodologists and practitioners in the field of military psychology and pedagogy and social work with military personnel.
