Creating an inclusive space in media education requires introducing new approaches to information literacy that allow all students, regardless of their characteristics, to be actively involved in the educational process and effectively use media resources to develop critical thinking and communication skills. The study aims to identify the features of modern approaches to information literacy in the context of an inclusive space in media education. The study was carried out using the methods of systematisation — to reveal the existing features of creating an inclusive space in modern conditions, the process of analysis — to assess the existing scientific base of research on the chosen topic, as well as methods of induction and deduction and generalisation. The results revealed that an inclusive approach to media education involves adapting educational programs, using modern digital technologies, and developing critical thinking. These aspects contribute not only to acquiring knowledge but also to forming social skills in students. The study identifies several modern approaches to information literacy, including using simulations and simulators for critical analysis of information, joint content curation, integration of information security practices into the educational process, etc. It has been found that these approaches contribute to the development of critical thinking and help students adapt to the complex conditions of the modern media environment, providing a deeper understanding of media influence and developing skills for responsible information consumption. An analysis of modern approaches to information literacy in an inclusive space has shown that practical activities, consideration of confirmed cases of media manipulation, and integration of formal, non-formal and informal education are essential components for training competent and media literate individuals. Conclusions. The study's results emphasised the importance of an inclusive approach to media education, which considers adapting educational programs and using modern technologies to develop critical thinking. It has been established that practical training of media literate individuals requires integrating formal, non-formal and informal education, which creates the basis for further research and improvement of educational practices in this area.
