Blended learning, which combines traditional methods with digital resources, is a promising area that can increase efficiency and student engagement. However, the optimal combination of traditional and digital methods requires further research. The study aims to analyse the current possibilities of blended learning in foreign language teaching, determine the role of digital resources in combination with traditional methods and develop recommendations for their effective integration. The study used the following methods: analysis and synthesis, systematisation, SWOT analysis, comparison, and deduction. This article identifies standard methods of integrating (supplementing, enhancing, modifying, transforming) digital resources into traditional ones in blended learning. A SWOT analysis of each of these methods has shown that some integration models are more effective than others, depending on the level of language proficiency (elementary, intermediate, high), learning objectives (development of vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing) and the type of digital resources. The study has shown that the integration of digital resources has a positive impact on the development of all aspects of language competence. However, the degree of impact depends on the integration model and the type of digital resources. The study proposes specific digital resources with different learning objectives and justifies their effectiveness. Recommendations for effectively preparing teachers to use digital resources in blended learning are provided. The tips include careful planning of integration, use of various digital resources, monitoring of students' progress, consideration of individual student needs, and continuous improvement of their digital literacy. Thus, effective integration of digital resources can significantly increase the effectiveness of foreign language teaching. Digital tools allow you to personalise learning, provide real-time feedback, create immersive learning environments, and offer a variety of interactive exercises. This leads to better learning and developing all aspects of language competence.
