The study examines the organizational structures and mechanisms of public administration in the field of physical culture and sports. The main development trends in this sector have been identified, including decentralization, digitalization of management processes, expansion of public-private partnerships, and the involvement of civil society in decision-making. A literature review highlights the need to adapt national management approaches to contemporary challenges and implement innovative solutions. Objective - the research aims to determine the key aspects of public administration in the field of physical culture and sports, analyze its main concepts, operational mechanisms, and modern development trends. Methods. The study employs content analysis of scientific publications, regulatory acts, and analytical reports. The research results the evolution of public administration in sports has undergone several stages: from centralized state models to the integration of market mechanisms and public-private partnerships. Modern trends in public sports management include the digitalization of management processes, implementation of automated systems for monitoring the effectiveness of sports programs, and the development of mechanisms for public oversight of sports institutions. Information technologies enable the creation of electronic athlete databases, registers of sports organizations, and digital platforms for communication between governing bodies and the public. Additionally, the integration of artificial intelligence and analytical tools enhances decision-making processes based on objective data. Organizational structures in the sports sector range from government agencies to independent federations and private clubs, ensuring flexibility in the distribution of management functions. Conclusions. The study demonstrates that improving the effectiveness of public administration requires enhancing interaction mechanisms between government bodies, the private sector, and civil society. The implementation of digital technologies, decentralization of management functions, and increased transparency in decision-making will contribute to the sustainable development and efficiency of the sports sector.
