Abstract

Purpose: To substantiate the structure and content of the fitness animation program "Wellness-Activ: Move with Pleasure" for middle-aged women in hotel complexes, aimed at improving psycho-emotional well-being, increasing physical activity levels, and enhancing life satisfaction. Methods: The study involved 20 women aged 21–55, divided into two age groups. Over a 7-day hotel stay, an experimental modular fitness animation program was implemented. To assess the program’s effectiveness, the following methods were used: the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS), the "Well-being, Activity, Mood" (WAM) questionnaire, and a custom survey assessing motivational and socio-psychological effects. The Student's t-test for dependent samples was used (p < 0.05). Results: The implemented program proved effective in both age groups. Women aged 36–55 showed statistically significant improvements across all indicators (p < 0.001), with an average increase in life satisfaction of 4.6 points and improvements in well-being, mood, and activity by 1.3–1.7 points. Women aged 21–35 also showed significant but slightly less pronounced positive changes. Survey data revealed a high satisfaction rate (90%), increased motivation to participate in future physical activities (85%), and a positive emotional environment. The modular structure (introductory, main, and final modules), personalized activity selection, and consideration of individual barriers and needs ensured the program’s adaptability and appeal. Conclusions: The proposed program is an effective tool for increasing middle-aged women’s engagement in physical activity during short-term leisure stays. The results confirm the feasibility of implementing such programs in hotel-based recreational services, emphasizing safety, motivational appeal, and emotional satisfaction.
