Despite a significant volume of somatological and anthropological research, a clear scientific gap persists regarding the comprehensive assessment and monitoring of the anthropometric characteristics of women in the second period of mature age (36–45 years). This period is deemed critical due to hormonal rearrangements, decreased physical activity, and the onset of visceral fat accumulation, which poses a high metabolic risk. Consequently, the pressing scientific issue is the unresolved element pertaining to the lack of profound morphofunctional substantiation for the development of individualized correctional and prophylactic health fitness programs tailored to the modern somatotype of Ukrainian women aged 36–45 years. The study objective is to determine and analyze the anthropometric characteristics and indices of women aged 36–45 years to assess the specific features of their physical development within the Ukrainian population. Methods. The research employed theoretical analysis and synthesis of literature sources, аnthropometry and anthropometric indices, and methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The effectiveness of correctional and prophylactic health fitness programs for women in the second period of mature age (36–45 years) can be significantly enhanced through their individualization and differentiation, based on the preliminary multidimensional typologization of the examined contingent according to their current anthropometric profiles (specifically, BMI, WHR, and circumferences). The application of such personalized programs leads to a more pronounced positive dynamics in morphofunctional indicators (reduction of excess body weight, optimization of fat deposition type, and improved physical fitness) compared to standard, undifferentiated methodologies. Conclusions. Anthropometric analysis of women aged 36–45 revealed that their somatotypological parameters are representative of the typical features of the Ukrainian population, exhibiting moderate overweight (BMI: 25.0 – 29.9 kg/m2). Key risk indicators (WC 88 cm and WHR 0.85) suggest a predominantly gynoid (peripheral), metabolically relatively safe type of fat deposition, which is not accompanied by deep destructive constitutional changes. It is established that the contingent possesses a sufficient functional reserve of the musculoskeletal system and optimal biomechanical prerequisites for the effective adoption of fitness modalities. This group should be categorized as a high-attention (prevention focus) group, for whom the timely implementation of scientifically substantiated correctional and prophylactic programs is a high priority for status stabilization and enhanced physical fitness.Downloads
