Abstract

Abstract: The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and analysis of the functional role of the «migration factor» in the system of professional training of future lawyers for working with migrants amidst contemporary socio-legal transformations. The article analyzes the current state of migration processes, which, under the conditions of globalization and contemporary security challenges, have acquired existential significance, substantiating the demand for a qualitatively new model of legal educatio. The essence of the «migration factor» definition is revealed as a complex set of socio-legal transformations requiring not only profound legal knowledge but also a high level of adaptability and social responsibility from the specialist. The authors define the structure of the future lawyer's professional readiness for work with migrants, which integrates legal-regulatory, psychological, ethical-deontological, and linguistic-communicative components. The article highlights the objective necessity of a transition from purely formal law enforcement to a human-centered approach based on understanding the value ambivalence of the migration experience – the dichotomy between an individual's social losses during migration and their potential integration into a new environment. Emphasis is placed on the importance of strengthening the psychological and pedagogical component of training, particularly the development of the specialist's psycho-emotional resilience, empathy, and reflective listening when working with vulnerable populations. It is noted that effective intercultural interaction in the migration sphere requires the intensification of students' linguistic training through the introduction of innovative immersive technologies and the mastery of non-verbal communication strategies. Particular attention is paid to analyzing ethical standards of conduct for civil servants within the framework of migration policy, proving the need for their adaptation to the realities of martial law. Conclusions are drawn regarding the strategic expediency of modernizing educational and professional programs by introducing specialized content modules on training lawyers for work with migrants and involving specialists with relevant practical experience in teaching. It is established that systematically incorporating the migration factor into the educational process will ensure the development of a competitive lawyer capable of worthily representing the state's interests and guaranteeing the protection of human rights in the cross-border legal space.
