Abstract

The article presents the results of a structural analysis of muscular endurance indicators of cadets within the system of physical training management. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to improve pedagogical control of physical fitness based on a deeper analysis of the internal structure of test results, which makes it possible to identify the heterogeneity of the contingent and justify a differentiated approach to the organization of the training process. Purpose. The purpose of the study was to carry out a structural analysis of muscular endurance indicators of cadets and to determine their significance for improving the system of physical training management. Methods. The following research methods were used: pedagogical testing, methods of mathematical statistics, structural analysis, and comparative analysis. The study involved 124 cadets. The assessment of muscular endurance was carried out using Exercise No. 20 (push-ups) and the Hand-Release Push-Up – Arm Extension test. Results. It was established that the average result in Exercise No. 20 was 35.40 ± 1.08 repetitions, while in the Hand-Release Push-Up – Arm Extension test it was 44.30 ± 0.83 repetitions. The analysis of the distribution of results showed that the largest proportion of cadets belonged to the average level of preparedness. At the same time, a significant number of individuals with low and below-average results was identified, which indicates the heterogeneity of the physical fitness of the studied group. Conclusions. It has been proven that the structural analysis of test results allows identifying the peculiarities of the distribution of muscular endurance indicators, determining groups of pedagogical risk, and increasing the effectiveness of physical training management of cadets.
