Abstract

The study examines a model of partnership between a specialized authorial school of arts and higher arts educational institutions through the example of the activities of the Montessori Center. Documents regulating professional cooperation were analyzed, including student internship agreements, as well as a memorandum of cooperation and partnership. The conclusions of the study formulate the main directions for the development of such cooperation between arts institutions as a factor in improving the quality of practical training of future music educators. Primary arts educational institutions, in cooperation with higher arts educational institutions, may be involved not only as internship bases for students but also as full participants in the process of training music educators. A specialized school of arts may provide its own intellectual resources, developments, and innovations related to the organization of the educational process. Institutions may organize joint events, festivals, concerts, competitions, master classes, and communication activities (working meetings, online/offline conferences). In addition, heads of specialized schools of arts may participate in the activities of employers’ councils.
