Formation of a dual system in vocational education institutions of China

The purpose of the article is to consider the process of formation of a dual system of education in vocational education institutions of China. In the process of achieving the goal, the following complex of general scientific research methods was used: bibliographic, historical, theoretical and comparative analysis, synthesis and generalization.
The results of the study established that the dual mode of education is useful and meets social needs, contributes to the construction of a high-tech society, regional economic development of the country. This study examines the stages of vocational education policy regarding cooperation between vocational education institutions and enterprises in China. It has been established that the development of school-enterprise cooperation in China's vocational education system can be divided into four stages. The shortcomings of the dual system in the institutions of professional education in China and directions for their solution have been revealed. The development of dual education in the field of professional education in China should be carried out taking into account the national characteristics and regional conditions of educational institutions regarding the provision of highly qualified teaching staff and mechanisms of interaction between educational organizations, the professional community and enterprises.
The conclusions state that it is necessary to improve the quality and social indicators of the recognition of professional education in China. The problems of the dual system of professional education in China and ways to solve them are identified. The need for government support for the development of a dual system of professional education has been established.
