Abstract

The article is devoted to the professional education of future psychologists, which we explain as the process of forming highly qualified specialists who are able to act actively, independently make optimal decisions, and constantly improve in their work. It is substantiated that the training of future psychologists involves not only possessing the necessary amount of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities, but also the presence of socially and professionally important qualities that will contribute to professional and personal self-improvement.

Objective. The purpose of the article is to reveal the domestic experience of professional training of future psychologists as an important issue for the scientific or practical pedagogical field.

Methods. Research methods - analysis and generalization of scientific literature, synthesis of new scientific ideas.

Results. The conclusions are statements about the professional training of future psychologists, which must be carried out in two main areas: organization and implementation of educational and professional and the formation of the personality of the psychologist, definition and awareness of his professional interests and areas of specialization. The article identifies a number of professional skills of a future psychologist, characterizes the specifics of a psychologist's professional activity, which requires the ability to apply knowledge in practice, professional competence and high responsibility, determines the special importance of the formation of professional skills and abilities, as well as certain professionally significant personal qualities during the training of future psychologists.

Conclusions. Analysis and generalization of scientific pedagogical and psychological literature shows that the problem of professional training of future psychologists is quite relevant in the fields of pedagogical science and professional education. Based on the results of research by domestic scientists, we identify areas for optimizing the professional training of future psychologists, including: the use of interactive forms and heuristic methods and the creation of psychological and pedagogical conditions for this. The prospect of further scientific exploration will be the identification of pedagogical conditions for the professional training of future psychologists, the creation or observance of which will enable the effectiveness of this process.
