Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the influence of dance classes, in particular hip-hop, on the development of physical endurance in school-age children. To achieve this goal, the following methodswere used : analysis of scientific literature, comparative analysis of existing studies, systematization and generalization. The results of the study show that physical endurance is the ability of the body to withstand physical activity for a long time without significant fatigue and depends on physical and psychological aspects. The development of endurance is one of the main goals of physical education programs in general secondary education. This is usually achieved through regular training, proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and other components of a healthy lifestyle. In the process of physical education, school-age children have the opportunity to develop both physical and psychological components of endurance. It is noted that the most effective ways to develop and improve endurance are the method of prolonged continuous work, as well as methods of repeated and interval training. Hip-hop choreography classes are considered as an effective means of integrating the educational process with the socio-cultural environment, which promotes physical development and the formation of personal values. The main criteria and movements of hip-hop dance are characterized. It has been determined that hip-hop is an aerobic activity that helps to strengthen the cardiovascular system, increase coordination and flexibility, and develop muscle strength in children. The main methods that can be used to effectively master the elements of hip-hop dance in physical education classes in general secondary education institutions are considered. Given the different physical fitness of students, it is necessary to adapt the exercises so that everyone can practice according to their capabilities. To maximize the effectiveness of hip-hop classes, it is important to ensure their balance, including warm-ups, basic dance exercises and stretching to prevent injuries. The conclusions indicate that the inclusion of hip-hop choreography in school physical education classes can be an effective strategy for improving children's physical fitness and forming a sustainable motivation for an active lifestyle.
