The need of the modern Ukrainian society for future practical psychologists capable of applying innovative digital technologies in their professional activities determines the modernization of the content of their training in higher education institutions and the need to identify a set of methodological approaches, the implementation of which in the educational process allows to create all conditions for the disclosure of their creative potential and expand the possibility of their successful employment. Objective. The article aims to determine a set of methodological approaches to forming future practical psychologists’ digital competence. Methods. Achieving the research objective required using a set of research methods, in particular, the analysis and synthesis of scientific works of modern Ukrainian scientists to a set of methodological approaches to forming future practical psychologists’ digital competence. Results, and Conclusions. The analysis of the scientific works of modern Ukrainian scientists has made it possible to determine the methodological basis for forming future practical psychologists’ digital competence in higher education institutions of Ukraine. The methodological approaches, whose implementation in the educational process of higher education institutions can effectively influence the formation of future practical psychologists’ digital competence, include competence-based, personality-oriented, activity-based, axiological, system-based and reflexive.
